A&B Billing Services is a medical reimbursement company providing our clients services Above and Beyond their
expectations. We provide a faster, more efficient method of sending in medical insurance claims to health
insurance companies by electronically filing all claims. Even if some of the insurance companies don't yet
accept electronically filed claims, we can assist in speeding up those claims by having our clearing house
produce flawless claims in approved formats. We know within 24 hours from sending in our claims if they will
be paid or rejected - and if rejected, we will know why. Speeding up the process from weeks or months to just
days is what we are all about.
A&B Billing Services is committed to specializing in one thing - insurance claims. We keep abreast of changes in
insurance industry standards; of updates in software; of compliance issues and of the need to train our data
entry employees. This will allow you to concentrate on your patients and allow your office personnel to make
patient recalls which increases business rather than spending the time on the telephone to an insurance company
to find out why a claim wasn't paid months ago!
A&B Billing Services is located in Encinitas, California, but we can handle the claims of any provider across the
country. We accept information from clients via fax or secure email and then we convert that information to
our needs. We have simple methods for billing our clients - just once a month on a per claim basis or a
percentage of the claim itself.
A&B Billing Services handles all of the billing from start to finish. Including Electronic/Paper claim
submission to primary and secondary commercial insurers; following up with insurance carriers to check
the status of claims; sending Letters of Medical Necessity and or chart notes when required; track unpaid
procedures and resubmit claims if necessary. We handle insurance appeals and/or complaints; post payments
to insurance claims or self-pay patient accounts. We take all patient inquiries in relation to their bills
out of the doctor's office and into ours. We provide End of Month Reports which includes Practice Analysis,
Production Summary and Insurance Aging.
A&B Billing Services carefully balances our client base in order to ensure that each client (and their billing)
will have our complete and undivided attention! With a staffing agency in place we can take on employees as
needed. Staggered schedules ensure that employees are available to our clients in all time zones. We have a
toll free number available for out of area clients and their patient’s convenience.
A&B Billing Services' co-owners, Brenda Grossman and Patricia Forester, are Certified Billing Specialists, with
over 25 years experience in office management, accounting and health insurance reimbursement. We keep
current by attending numerous healthcare seminars and computer workshops that showcase the latest
developments in computer software and other programs, developed especially for electronic claims
processing services. We are members of the American Medical Billing Association.
